The Doomsday Clock, a symbolic gauge of nuclear danger, has moved one minute closer to midnight because of “inadequate progress” on nuclear and climate issues.

BEIJING — A forceful 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of southeastern Japan on Sunday, rattling buildings in Tokyo and jolting a nation still recovering from last year’s mega-disaster. Read more from THE WASHINGTON TIMES

Sutherland – The French couple who shot dead a police officer on Friday on the farm Hardie, about 24km outside Sutherland, and wounded another, had apparently become stranger by the day and even seemed “demonic”.

According to a report on Foxnews.com, Dr. David Morrison, a senior scientist at NASA’s Astrobiology Institute, says he’s “gotten nearly 1,000 e-mails from people who believe something catastrophic is about to befall the planet. He added that some of the letters have been from teenagers who said they would rather commit suicide than watch the world come to an end.”

If this is true, it’s sad, but seriously, these suicidal people have problems already. Personally, I would never commit suicide, I’m to curious to see what will happen next. If the world ends, there is not much I can do about it, but I will survive as long as possible!
